Kris & Ruth Peaden
CO-PASTORS
Kris and Ruth Peaden are the co-pastors at Huntington Central Church of the Nazarene, and their greatest joy is helping people encounter the love of Jesus in a real and life-changing way. After 18 years of ministry in New Jersey and Virginia, they made Huntington their home in 2024. When they’re not serving, you’ll usually find them enjoying coffee, good conversation, and time outdoors with their two dogs. They also love spending time with their two grown sons and making memories with family and friends. Their heart for Central is simple: that everyone who walks through the doors will find a place to believe, belong, and begin again.
Delaney Blackwell
Children's Director
Delaney serves as our Children’s Director and is known for her joy, creativity, and heart for Christ. She is passionate about guiding children in their faith journey and helping them experience God’s love in ways that are meaningful and lasting. Delaney and her husband Brody share life with their two dogs, and she brings that same sense of warmth and fun into everything she does. Around the church she is always finding ways to connect with people of all ages, even inspiring the adults to join in on the fun when she made “girl math” a favorite. Her energy and genuine love for children make her an incredible blessing to our church family.
